This Week in my Business - Feb 21 2026
It’s sometimes hard to celebrate the wins when you’re a solopreneur. Let’s share them here.
Top Three Wins This Week
Officially cancer free after five years - no more Tamoxifen!
Three word of mouth people contacted me about delivering workshops for them, and one has already booked.
Debuted my “Then They Came for the Quilters” quilt.

Created and submitted my handouts and worksheets for Craftcation. Going to be epic!
Confirmed what I would be selling in the Craftcation pop-up shop. Going to be making and selling soap, lipbalm and more!
Taught a candle workshop at LinkedIn.
Attended the SF Quilters Guild meeting and showed two quilts - “Then They Came for the Quilters” and my new baby sized EPP quilt which is finally finished.
I am the Workshop Chair for the SFQG and made the next workshop tickets live - Michelle Trimble in April. To be followed by E Bond in June and perhaps Shibori Dyeing in May.
Planned my next zoom workshop using the GPT mentioned below.

The lead collection pop-up on the new site was broken and labelling all leads as teachers. Still trying to fix it. Lots of back and forth with Support.
Created email sequence to re-engage lapsed teachers. Starts Monday.
Lots of promotion of the Belle Brunner lecture next week on Building a Healthy Quilt Guild.

Created a GPT (AI Bot) to help teachers come up with either a demo for the All Star Sampler Platter, or an outline for a longer workshop. There will be a free version as a lead magnet and a bells and whistles version for teacher members. Still tweaking it.
Lots of planning and some very good news around our Booth at H&H (Craft trade show in May) and F&F (public show in April).
Confirmed the title and description of the Panel I’m moderating at H&H. Very excited to be working with such an expert Panel of creative women. “Micro Influencers, Macro Impact”.
Personal
My (hopefully) last ever call with my fabulous Oncologist Dr Reddy. Been 5 years since my breast cancer treatment finished and I can now stop taking Tamoxifen. My chance of recurrence is “Zero to single digits” which is AMAZING!
The 100-day project starts tomorrow and my Partner and I are going to be working towards some kind of joint show/reveal to friends of our work at the end of it all.
Charlotte still the most excellent and fabulous cat in the world.
